End of a Species
is moving

We built an audience on a platform that stops you from saying the word Twitch .

Phase II fixes that.

The progress bar below is accurate. What it says about all of us is still being determined.

What the fund supports

A content infrastructure that doesn't depend on any single platform's mood.

Produced shows. Original writing. Live engagement. Audio. Video. All of it owned, not rented.

Phase II funds the build. The announcements come after.

The investment

This is not a tip jar.

A tip jar is for people who did something nice. This is for people who are tired of watching bad arguments win because good ones couldn't afford a microphone.

Voluntary. Direct. Not tax-deductible. The IRS has enough problems.

3% Cover the Fee

This is not a charitable donation. This is an investment in making better arguments louder than worse ones.

Why fund this?

  • ☕︎

    Because platforms reward nonsense.

This one is trying something different. So far, so good.

  • ☕︎

Because bad arguments scale faster than good ones.

The only thing outpacing misinformation is misinformation with a budget.

  • ☕︎

    Because consistency requires resources.

Good content is easy. Doing it every week without a corporate safety net is the actual test.

  • ☕︎

    Because you're already here.

You didn't end up on this page by accident. That means something already worked. This is where it either grows or plateaus.

  • ☕︎

    Because debate stopped being debate.

It became performance. This is the infrastructure to fix that. Slowly. Loudly.

  • ☕︎

Because the alternative is TikTok forever.

And you deserve better than that. So does the content.

End of a Species built its audience on a platform that considers Twitch a slur. A platform that throttles content it finds inconvenient and calls the relationship between creator and audience "engagement metrics."

That is an institution behaving exactly like every institution this platform exists to critique.

So we're leaving. Not dramatically. Not as a statement. Just practically. Phase II is the infrastructure that makes the exit permanent instead of theoretical.

The audience built this once on borrowed ground. Phase II builds it somewhere with a deed.

Got questions?

  • No. This is funding independent media and platform development. Nothing about this is tax-deductible. It is voluntary and direct.

  • Equipment, production software, and time. The longer answer involves a spreadsheet. The short answer is: everything that currently runs on goodwill and caffeine gets a budget.

  • Because they come with constraints.

This keeps the content independent and the direction controlled by the audience instead of a brand manager.

  • The content continues. The build slows down. Those are different things.

  • Then the announcements come sooner. Good problems to have.

  • Yes. Watching keeps the lights on. Funding buys better lights.
