Comment policy.

Last updated: July 27, 2025

We encourage comments—but only the kind that contribute. This isn’t social media chaos. This is a space for strong ideas, clear reasoning, and smart dissent.

What’s Allowed (and What’s Not)

Allowed:

  • Real names or sensible pseudonyms
  • Comments directly related to the topic
  • One meaningful link per comment (for context, not clout)

Not allowed:

  • Spam or keyword-stuffed nonsense
  • Gibberish, templated “thank you” comments, or SEO bait
  • Personal info like emails, phone numbers, or addresses
  • Personal attacks, insults, or trolling
  • Plagiarized or copyright-violating content

Comments may be edited or removed at our discretion. Repeat offenders will be blocked. Link-hunters and engagement hackers: go elsewhere.

Moderation and Responsibility

We moderate with a light touch, but don’t confuse that with passivity. Spam gets deleted. Harassment gets blocked. We reserve the right to remove anything that doesn’t fit the tone or standards of the site.

You are legally responsible for the content you post. Don’t pretend otherwise.

If Your Comment Disappears

If your comment isn’t visible, it may have been flagged by automatic filters. Comments with more than one link, or that read like they were written by a bot, might be held for review. Don’t repost it five times: we saw it.

Linking Rules

You’re welcome to share one relevant link in your comment if it adds context or supports your argument. Comments with multiple links or irrelevant self-promotion will be flagged or deleted.

Name and Attribution

Use a real name or a coherent alias. No keywords or brand names in the name field. If your name looks like it was generated by a spam tool, you won’t make it through moderation.

Be Direct, Not Disrespectful

We’re open to bold claims and controversial takes. We’re not open to abuse. Criticize arguments, not people. Comments that target individuals will be removed. Comments that escalate conflict will be shut down.

Copyright and Plagiarism

If you didn’t write it, don’t post it. Copy-pasted content from other websites or copyrighted works without attribution will be deleted. Repeated offenses will get you banned.

Summary
