Classified Experts
On August 8, 2022, the FBI executed a search warrant on several areas in Mar-A-Lago. Their target was a series of documents that they suspected were being kept by former president Donald Trump. Agents seized a number of allegedly classified documents. What followed was a series of court filings that only a select few elite legal scholars can understand and explain.
Among these scholars are content creators that have just recently passed the YouTube version of the MBE. It appears these groups have recently been hired at the Dunning & Kruger Law Firm. Their dissertations on this DOJ topic include brilliant observations like “all evidence will get thrown out” and “Trump will spend 1000 years in prison.” With absolute zero need for nuance, they plant their flags on their superbly researched conclusions and stand firm, no matter what other facts emerge.
Joining them at the prestigious D&K law firm are the incredibly talented ranks of the peer review division. This department dispenses with any need for experience or actual credentials and instead focuses on telling long time lawyers and security experts they are wrong because, well, they are the peer review branch and they said so. If you don’t believe them, you should do your own research.
None of these groups let such trivial matters as a track record deter them. Whether they were waxing poetic about Hillary Clinton’s eventual incarceration, or providing scintillating breakdowns of how Robert Mueller’s report would take down Donald Trump, no level of “getting it wrong” stops D&K from jumping back into the fray. Challenge them on their record at your peril. They are experts at identifying bots, and even better at recognizing those that are funded by George Soros, CNN, or some other boogeyman du jour.
Irresponsible content creators seek out experts to add context to their opinions. They respect the years of schooling it takes to become a licensed practitioner. They have deference for those with experience and expertise in their respective fields. Credential matter to these cretins. They have not yet tasted the sweet, enlightening nectar of a red pill. They print retractions. They apologize when they get things wrong. They don’t know how to stay the course.
The same goes for loyal fans of channels hosted by lawyers and security experts. What kind of a beta takes an expert at their word? Everyone knows that true alphas make up their minds without evidence. The troglodytes that appreciate content backed by credentials will never be the Employee of the Month at Dunning & Kruger.
After all, if we don’t have ideological battle lines to stand behind, what is the point of politics? Spreading misinformation is the best way for one to feel intelligent, if even for a few minutes. Cosplaying as a constitutional scholar, or a national security expert, or any other kind of professional boosts confidence. Contradicting a person whose experience exceeds yours by a factor of a divide by zero error puffs up the ego. There is nothing to lose! If, for whatever reason, the credentialed, licensed, or degree having expert gets the upper hand…
