Embrace a Shared Reality
Before starting the conversation, we have to agree that we are going to engage in a share reality. Nobody has their own universe.
Champion Logic and Honesty
The arguments don’t have to be formal, but they have to be based in logic and reason. Participants also have to engage honestly. Fallacies and deception have no place in the dialog.
Respect Human Dignity
Maintain the dignity of all participants. Refrain from language or actions that diminish a person’s value. In our debates, every voice is heard, and every individual is valued.
